Description

A custom washer and dryer conversion, including a sink and faucet. In addition, it is a nice finish to hide (previously) visible piping on the wall.

DIY: washing machine conversion

First of all I made the piping for the faucet and drain of the sink. For this I had to extend the existing pipework, so that all supply and discharge points are roughly in the right place. I had to cut the worktop and the upright parts myself, so that they fit around the pipework. I also made the hole for the sink. I connected the uprights and the worktop with dowels and angle irons. Then put everything upright and connected the worktop to the base unit for the sink. Finally, the sink, pipework and drain are assembled. The worktop is finished with a transparent 2-component lacquer.
