TV cabinet from OSB, just like Xander

Xander designed his own TV stand tailored to the items he wants to store. Everything fits perfectly! Convenient, right?! He opted for OSB 3 sheet material and had the material cut to size. With the supplied boards, he could immediately start assembling his OSB 3 TV stand.

Based on his design, he determined the dimensions of the required sheet material and easily entered them during the ordering process on our website. He finished the TV stand with modern, black hairpin legs.

With OSB3, you can create various pieces of furniture. It is a structural board and can therefore be used for many applications. So, Xander not only made a TV stand but also a custom wine rack. The TV stand and the wine rack form a beautiful whole, and the wood color of the OSB3 gives the interior a warm look.

What is OSB3 exactly?

OSB is made from pressed wood chips and therefore belongs, like MDF and particle board, to the family of fiberboards. OSB uses the coarsest wood chips, which are all laid in the same direction and then pressed. An OSB board usually consists of 3 of these layers, with the inner layer lying crosswise to the outer two layers. This makes the board very strong. To make an OSB board, almost no waste is produced. The wood chips are essentially a recycled product. Because the wood chips are relatively coarse, OSB also contains less glue than particle board or MDF, making it even more of a natural product than the other two fiberboards.
