Description

I made a desk for the study from 28 mm thick MDF lacquer collar. The desk is used for study and administrative work. I was looking for a sturdy worktop at least 25mm thick and 70.0cm deep that would hold multiple books and a large iMac.

How did you make the desk?

I first made a drawing of the worksheet after measuring everything in my office. I have searched several hardware stores for this size worktop, but this is almost not available. In addition, it is also not possible to have open corners cut in the hardware store, you need a plunge saw for that. After some googling I ended up on this site. I was looking for a white worktop more than 25 mm thick made of MDF. Then I entered the sizes on the website, ordered and it was delivered 3 days later. The top is supported by a metal corner profile that I attached to the wall. For extra strength, I decided to place a single leg underneath as well. I am very satisfied with the result!

What are the measurements?

The shape in which the desk is sawn is rectangular with a chamfered short edge. The dimensions are 265.0 x 246.0 x 70.0 cm
