A floating TV cabinet of blue colored MDF, by Freya

We have designed a TV cabinet that is placed floating against the wall. This is not only useful for storing things, but also the cables and sockets are hidden in this way.

DIY: a floating, blue TV cabinet

We blauwe MDF van 19mm immediately with the correct sides in miter. The Blue MDF has been given 3 layers of lacquer on the outside. Then we drilled in and attached the valve hinges. To assemble the corpus, we chose to glue it with Lamellos. This had to be done accurately as all elements of the corpus were glued together in one go. Finally, only a push-open spring had to be drilled in and the unit could be attached to the wall.
