Description by Merit

We designed a long bench ourselves to go along the dining table. The bench features 4 storage compartments, which is essential with 3 children. We also mounted a custom-made cabinet to the bench, turning it into a cohesive piece of furniture. The cabinet serves as decoration, storage space, and a wine rack at a convenient height.

How I Made This Project

We designed the bench ourselves using SketchUp after researching online for comfortable seating positions. We incorporated the storage compartments into the design. The bench was ordered in separate parts and assembled by us with the help of a friend who is a carpenter. We also ordered cushions for the bench, which we had already taken into account during the design phase. The cabinet was designed using the generator on the website. It was delivered in ready-to-assemble parts and was easy to put together.
